Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrival in Airport, there you will be received by one of our representatives and transferred to hotel.You will be served free welcome drinks (tea, coffee or juice) at the time of check in. Afterwards, a representative from our company will brief you about the trip. Overnight in hotel.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu
Free day in Kathmandu, these day you can explore all over the valley and could visit Temples,Gumbas,Historical Places and many more.Overnight in hotel.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla
After breakfast, fly to Lukla and then trek to Phakding (2640m/ 2/3 hrs), in this trail, Chaurikharka Schook, Chablung, Tharo Koshi, Ghat are major places. Overnight in a tented camp.

Day 04: Trek to Namche
After breakfast, trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m; this route leads straight up, a shorts distance beyond the waterfall, there is an excellent view to the east of (6608m) high peak Thamserku as well as this trail leads you to climb steeply over a rocky ridge. Moreover, Namche Bazar is the administrative center for the Khumbu region and it is the entry point of the Mount Everest. Overnight in tented Camp.

Day 05: Rest day in Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization
Rest day at Namche Bazaar (3440m) for acclimatization. This is important before proceeding higher Trek. Overnight similar.

 Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche 
After breakfast, trek to Thayangbuche (3867m / 4/5 hrs), Kenjoma & Sansa settlements. Tengboche is a monastery, founded by a monk from Khumjung. It is the largest and most active monastery in Khumbu. According to the legends, Lama Sange Dorje flew over the Himalaya and landed on rocks at Pyangboche and Tengboche, leaving his footprints. Overnight is similar.

Day 07: Trek to Dingbuche
After breakfast, trek to Dingbuche (4360 m), it is more pleasant place and the mountain views are outstanding. Overnight is similar.

Day 08: Trek to Lobuche
After breakfast, trek to Lobuche( 4900m), in this trail you reach a very renowned place named Chaukpilhara, there are monuments of rock in the memory of died sherpas and climbers during the climbing. Overnight in similar.

Day 09: Trek to Gorakshep
After breakfast, trek to Gorakshep/Everest Base Camp Goreshpe. (5180m):,Lobouche to Gorakshep needs around 2/3 hours where you will have the view of Peak Pumori and Kala Pattar, meaning is ” Black Rock” is in 5545m high, which provides the best vantage point for viewing Mt. Everest. Gorak Shep ( 5160m) which is also called ” Lake Camp” because here is a small lake that is usually either dry or frozen and several monuments to climbers who have died the expeditions. Overnight is similar.

Day 10: Trek to Kalapathar and back to Luboche
After breakfast, early in the Morning Kalapatthar then back to Lobuche (4900m / 2 hrs), Mornings are usually sparking clear and Kalapattar climbing is one of the most rewarding parts of the trip. Overnight is similar.

Day 11: Trek back to Thyangboche
After breakfast, trek back to Tyangboche (3867 m). Overnight is similar.

Day 12: Trek to Namche
After breakfast, trek to Namche (3440m). Overnight is similar.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla
After breakfast, trek to Lukla (2800 m). Overnight is similar.

Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu 
After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu then transfer to hotel.Overnight in hotel.

Day 15:  A free day in Kathmandu
After breakfast, free day in Kathmandu. Overnight is similar.or you can extend your trip and could go for Bunjy Jumping,  Mounatin Biking, White Water Rafting, etc.

Day 16: Final departure
Final Departure to your homeland country and see off!!!

 

 

General Information

 

Accommodation:

During Everest Base Camp Trek we opt you accomodate on 3 star or 5 star hotels like Hotel Royal Singhi (3 star),  Hotel Manaslu (3 star), Radisson (5 star), Yak & Yeti (5 star) or similar in Kathmandu City  or similar.

While in Trekking route, you can get many Tea House/ Lodge to stay with moderately good service. Most Lodges provide service similar to Hotels in Kathmandu. We will ensure you get the best service possible to keep your trek enjoyable.

 

Meals:

We arrange the best quality food for all trekkers. Basically we recommend you local community foods of Everest  Region  where you could prefer the traditional foods like Sweet Potato,Buck Wheat and Barley so that you could enjoy the culture, the way of living of local people and also promote the locally available resources of organic food and beverages. Other than that many kind of Continental, Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisine like Pizza, Spaghetti, French Fries, Soups, Breads etc are also available in most of the places based upon your requirement.

 

Porter and Staff Care:

We ensure that all the porters and other staffs going into high altitude conditions are provided with adequate clothing and equipment. They are the backbones for the accomplishment of the trek.

 

Best Season:

The month of March-May & mid September-mid December are the best season for Everest Base Camp  Trek.

 

Any Experience Required?

For Everest Base Camp Kalapathar Trek  we  dont need to have any earlier experience. If you love to adventure then any one above 18 years could go for Everest Base camp Trek

 

Difficulties

The main part of difficulty is with altitude. Since at the high altitude the availability of oxygen is less. There might be difficult in breathing too but we do have the precaution available for our guest.

The Guides play a very active role during the trek. We got experienced and helpful trekking guides who come along with different language speaking capabilities,  educatinal background suitable for your language. The guides have good knowledge about the culture, language, location and each and every little things of Everest Region which would help our trekkers to enjoy the full potential of the trail and communicate easily with the people along the trail.

 

Travel Insurance:

Before starting your journey with MarronTreks it is advised that you arrange your travel insurance before leaving your homeland. The main thing is to make sure your insurance covers you for both medical and evacuation costs. In some places it is not necessary but it would be better if you have the travel insurance with you all the time. That would make your trip save and hassle free.
