DAY 1: LUSHOTO-MAGAMBA FOREST- GREWALL 6-7 HOURS.
walk through the forest with lots of flowers birds monkeys and this is suitable for bird watchers, botanist and anthropologist. After enjoying the forest drive to Grewall campsite for overnight.
DAY 2: GREWALL – JIWE LA MUNGU – SHUME – 8 HRS
Walk to a tree nursery under Shume Forest, where you learn about different types of trees and how people of Shume are benefiting out of it. Then tour to God’s foot print and Sky line where we can enjoy our lunch. From this view point you overlook Pare Mountain such as Shengena, and Maasai plains.
DAY 3: SHUME – MTAE – LUSHOTO – 10HRS
Journey through the valleys and sloping hill sides of the inner Usambara Mountain passing by the vegetable farms lined with eucalyptus and banana trees. You will pass through the villages of Viti and Madala then proceed walking through traditional villages where you will experience typical traditional life style of Shambaa people. After 2-3 hours take a transport to Sunga where you will visit pottery women group.Then you will continue to World view point with spectacular views overlooking Maasai plains, Mkomazi National Park and Tsavo national park in Kenya. Also on clear days you can enjoy wonderful view of Kilimanjaro that extends over the horizon. After enjoying the view in Mtae you travel back to Lushoto for overnight.
